Background:

• Champagne Mais (CM) is a leading European Maize miller.  The mill at Pringy (near Vitry le Francois) is ideally situated to take advantage of the supply of contracted flint-dent maize grown by the members of the Groupe Champagne Cereales Co-operative, its parent company.

• CM specialises in high quality, identity-preserved maize grits and flours of Non GM origin.

• CM processes more than 100,000 tonnes of maize per annum, 75% of which is exported to multinational customers.

• Maize grits to a variety of particle size specifications.
• Maize flours to a variety of particle size specifications.

• Vertical integration of the supply chain ensures total control and full traceability by contract growing in NE France.  No imported raw material is used.
• Nil GM seed-stock used and PCR testing throughout the supply chain ensures the non GM status.
• Packaging formats range from 25kg sacks to Big Bag formats and bulk deliveries.
