  • White Oak Frozen Foods (WOFF) has unique experience in the growing and marketing of processed vegetables.  It is located in Newman, California in the San Joaquin valley.
  • WOFF specialises in the production of "Reduced Mositure"™ individual quick frozen (IQF) vegetables.
Product Range & Properties:

The standard "Reduced Moisture"™ IQF vegetable range includes:

  • Vine ripened tomatoes; including "extra select" skin-off quality; Sweet green jalapenos; Red & Green bell peppers; Mild green Anaheim Chilli; Zucchini - green and yellow; Celery, Sweet Onion,  Broccoli Florets. 
  • All the above available in a range of cuts.

The key functional properties of the WOFF product range are:

  • Low synaeresis from the vegetable piece on defrosting / heating.  Especially good for microwave applications.
  • Superior texture and intensified colour & flavour compared with regular IQF vegetables.
  • Limited piece shrinkage on preparation.
  • Excellent microbial control through the HTST pasteurisation process step.
  • Improved freeze-thaw stability, less icing, improved free-flow.
